Personality

Yehn'ir is what a person would consider to be a socialite due to the professions he has been involved in. When Yehn'ir is around strangers he
can either be a friendly guy or a serious one depending on the situation he is in, but as a leader he portrays himself as a professional - that is until he gets comfortable enough to show his true colors. Despite whatever face he shows when meeting new people one thing is for sure and that's that he'll always try to charm the people around him with his charisma.

When it comes to those that are close to him, his playful demeanor can often cause chaos and an amusing chain of reactions. Even though he loves his friends he often has the most obnoxious ways of showing that he cares. In other words, the more "playful" he is with someone, the more he likes them. This is because he often has a hard time displaying affectionate emotions in public whereas its easier to open up to someone when he's alone with them.

Background

Born as the 6th child to Towa Nelhah, Yehn'ir was the only child born half Keeper and half Hyur within their tribe as his mother had fallen in love with a Doman Hyur she had met in the Black Shroud during one of his missions as a Ninja overseas. The two shortly married afterwards however, Yehn'ir's father, Takano Yoshiharu descended from a strict clan of Ninjas that wouldn't allow the men and women amongst their clan to wed someone outside of their race. In doing so, it would be considered betrayal amongst their own and would be marked for death for bringing "dishonor" into the clan.

Knowing that it was only a matter of time before they went after his family, Takano reached out to an old friend he made many years ago and seeked for refuge until he figured out a place for them to go. The humble Sea Wolf, despite not having much to offer, agreed to take him and his new family for some time. Unfortunately as the family was getting ready to leave and meet with their friend, they were attacked by the same clan he was seeking to cut ties with. They were outnumbered and although they had help from some of the members of the Nelhah tribe, the lot of them were wiped out - all except for Yehn'ir. Time passed and eventually Maetiberk Swarsweigsyn entered the scene. Horrified of the bloodshed around him he saw the lifeless body of his friend and a girl breathing her final breaths as she held onto her newborn son. With the bit of strength that she handed him over and said,

"Save him... show him how to love, and when he's old enough tell him that his mother and father loved him very much."

And that's what he did. As Yehn'ir grew up his father constantly reminded him that his mother and father loved him although he never did specify what had occurred. At a young age he taught him how to paint his face as tribute to his culture and before long it became a habit and something he would do every morning.

PRESENT TIME (28)

His life took a turn for the worst at the age of 19 when he had discovered the truth of what had really happened to his parents. There was vengeance, betrayal, bloodshed, and worst of all the feeling of emptiness in your heart when you reach the end of your goal. He was no longer the kid that wanted to be a hero but instead a shadow of what he once was. Fortunately he crossed paths with another keeper and his grandmother who he traveled with for some time. The year he spent with them was enlightening to say the least and a new goal in his life bloomed. He now dedicates his life to serving others, no matter where they originate from. It was this aspiration that led him to pick up various hobbies. Yehn'ir has gone from a tailor, to a butler, to a treasure hunter, to a chef, to a headmaster, and as of recently he has become a poet.

He made new friends, experienced what it was like to manage his own businesses, and through those experiences he was able to retain a piece of himself that was still there.

SO WHAT DID HAPPEN AFTER YEHN’IR FOUND OUT ABOUT HIS PARENTS?

Trivia

Yehn'ir has 5 older siblings. Till this day he does not know of their whereabouts.When Towa handed him over to Maetiberk before passing away she handed him her moonstone necklace as well. Every full moon Yehn'ir goes outside to pay his respects to his parents and kisses the moonstone.Yehn'ir was pushed around by male hyurs during a young age which added to his hatred, however he was always popular with the girls no matter the race.He loves reading and writing Haiku.Whenever he had a crush on someone as a kid, Yehn'ir would tease them or be mean to them because he didn't want them to know about it.He likes to fish when he's angry because he likes to imagine his adoptive dad is right next to him as he vents to himself about why he is mad.Yehn'ir can't handle his alcohol and it has got him into more trouble than he can count so he tries to avoid it these days.He is a retired NIN and specializes in AST, like his mother.He had a gambling addiction but got help. Now he gambles in moderation.He inherited his blue eye from his dad and his yellow one from his mother. His highlighted hair is also natural as he inherited both colors from his parents. White (Mother) / Black (Father)He has a Ufiti companion named Tobi who is also his mount of choice.Although his surname is technically Yoshiharu due to his dad's side he takes up the surname Nelhah instead.
